Spring is upon us! (Don’t you just love her spring flower dress, btw?)

I’ve been slowly making my way through all the school photos that I took last fall. It’s been fun going through them!

Over the winter, things slow down in the school photo department.

But now that spring is here, I’m back in the swing of things!

Head shots – aka school photos – is what these guys came for.

But they might have taken things a little too literally!

In an effort to make each other laugh, they actually turned into shots to the head! And then an elbow to the nose. And then laughter ensued.

I’m pretty sure that their mom ended up breaking things up – which is probably a pretty frequent occurrance at home, lol!

Photos are not typically kids’ favourite thing…so you have to make it fun, right?!

Just as long as nobody leaves with a black eye!

Although that might make for a good photo….

These guys make me laugh. I hope they do for you, too!

Since we aren’t doing any international travel these days, let’s all remember that:⁠⁠ “Laughter is an instant vacation.” – Milton Berle⁠⁠

But! Now that we are talking about travel…where do you plan to go once we do start traveling again?!

Is a hot holiday on your list? A beach?

Or maybe you’re more into mountain climbing? Machu Pichu perhaps? Ok, now I am really rambling, aren’t I? :)⁠⁠

Growing up.

You know that age when it’s no longer cool to hug your sister? Or even sit close to her?

I guess it’s different for everyone…and every relationship.

But this pair totally made me flash back to when I was young!

I remember my older brother being too cool to put his arm around me. Or even talk to me.

In fact, I’m pretty sure he pretended he didn’t have a sister at all!

Anyway, isn’t that one photo hilarious (scroll down)?

The one where his arm is outstretched and it’s just kind of dangling over her shoulder?

So awesome. This is the kind of stuff that keeps me entertained when I am editing.

I can tell they truly love each other; there’s a special bond growing beneath the awkwardness.

But at this moment in time it’s not quite cool to hug your sister.

So how about they stand back to back, instead.

My goal, always, it to make people feel comfortable – and that goes for kids, too! So if touchy feeling isn’t your thing…we’ll find what is!

These brothers were so adorable together. At first I was kinda upset that I didn’t manage to get every limb in the frame (see what I’m talking about below!).

But then I thought – no, this is perfect! It actually helps tell the story about how how one minute young brothers are hugging and cuddling…and the next they are tugging and pulling and running away from each other!

We managed to sneak their young sister in there for a pic, too.

I’ve been thinking about offering sibling mini sessions outdoors this spring/summer. Is that something that you’d be interested in?

These sibling shots were actually a little bonus with my school photos – cause how could I resist?

I always like to offer sessions that you’re actually interested in! After all, I’m here to serve you.
