It goes like this.
Before your babe was born, you thought about newborn photos. You added it to the list. But the list started to pile up and, before you knew it, photos were your least priority. And then baby arrived.
I get it. Prepping for a baby’s arrival is no small feat. There are a LOT of things to do and prepare before that precious soul arrives. Especially if it’s your first.
Now that things have settled down a little and you’re in a bit of a routine, you might be thinking that you’re like a couple of nice photos before they get past their chubby little baby stage.
No doubt, you’ve taken a TON of photos already (likely with your phone). The cameras on mobile phones are insane these days – they take some amazing shots! But wouldn’t it be nice to actually be in a photo without it being an awkward selfie pic?
Don’t worry, even though those early newborn days have come and gone, it doesn’t mean that it’s too late to capture some amazing images of you and your baby.
Want to know the best time to take baby photos? Right now.
Honestly, there’s no sense waiting until they can sit, or crawl, or stand…whatever the milestone, it will work.
Every child is different and, therefore, there’s no magic age. Some kids are sitting at 5 months, some are walking at 11 months…it varies.
If you’re wondering how old this precious doll was when these photos were taken, it was right around the 5 month mark. She was doing a great job at learning to push herself up but definitely wasn’t at the sitting stage yet, so pictures of mom holding daughter worked best.
