I often hear people say that they aren’t photogenic, or they feel awkward in front of the camera.  They say they don’t know how to stand or where to put their hands.  (Full confession: I sometimes feel the same way when I have my photo taken!)

The truth of the matter is not many people really love having their photo taken (at first).  But everyone deserves a great head shot.

Selfies are great but they only go so far.  Sometimes you just need something more professional – for work, or your online profile, or just simply to have a great portrait of yourself.

Rhea needed a head shot for her upcoming feature in a Color by Amber catalogue.  (Congrats on your stylist shout out, Rhea!)  I’m sure she didn’t really want her photo taken, so we made it short and sweet.  And look what we came up with!
