After months – maybe years? – of thinking about it, I finally gave the family photos around my house a refresh. And it feels OH SO GOOD!
I encourage clients to print out their digital files, whether it be in the form of prints, on canvas, or in other creative ways. I mean, digital files are really just that – digital files – unless you do something with them. So I figured it was time to walk the talk and turn my family’s files into works of art too.
I printed these image blocks at Technicare – the professional printing lab that I send all my client’s photos to. I’m super happy with how they turned out!
For now, I have them sitting on our mantel, but when I get tired of them I can easily hang them on a wall in a different room, as the come ready-to-hang.
And then I figured it was time to switch up the feature artwork. I still love lots of colour, so I moved my painting to a different wall in the living room. This “family” piece from Pier 1 (I love this store!).
Anyway, you like? It just feels nice to finally be done a project that I’ve been dreaming about for so long!
