I have to say, hanging out at the beach isn’t always my first choice when it comes to summer pastimes. Don’t get me wrong, I love the water…and basically every excuse to lay around and just “be.” It just always seems like so much effort. The sunscreen, the never-ending packing of the beach bag…and lunches…and… But when I see children doing what they do best – just soaking it all in – I realize that life really is better at the beach.
