When I look back at my daughter’s baby photos, I think this is about the age that I wish we could freeze time at.
Right around the 7 month mark. By that time, you’ve figured out what makes them giggle, what makes them cranky and you can still (comfortably) rest them on your hip without breaking your back.
I tried to do this with my 4.5 year old the other day and almost put my back out. No joke. Don’t tell my chiropractor.
And that flying in the air thing that we used to do? Yes, well, that’s definitely a thing of the past.
Isn’t it weird to think about the last time you did something? Like, I wonder, when was the last time that I flew my daughter over my head…or put a diaper on her?
Life just keeps moving forward…and one day you just realize that it’s a thing of the past. These are the things that I ponder sometimes. Am I the only one?
